Thunder Claim 2015 Title

The Manitoba Thunder claimed the Softball Manitoba U14 A Girls
Championship Sunday at Simplot Park in Brandon.

  The Manitoba Thunder claimed the Softball Manitoba U14 A Girls Championship Sunday at Simplot Park in Brandon, defeating the Smitty's Terminators 9-3 in the gold medal game.

  Tesia Hrom and Jenna Perfeniuk combined on a three-hitter for the Thunder while Rogerson, Natalie Ellis and Megan Neiles scored a pair of runs each.

  The Thunder not only claim the Provincial title, but will also be Manitoba 1 for the Western Canadian U14 Championship in Winnipeg from August 6-9.

  Smitty's will be Manitoba 2 at that same event while the South Interlake Phillies will act as the host team.

The Thunder pitchers in this final were Tesia Hrom and Jenna Perfeniuk. Mia Rogerson didn't pitch. She played shortstop the entire game.
